ANTHONY LaPaglia might be in the doghouse this week after airing some racy information about wife Gia Carides on US television.

The Australian actor revealed how Carides, star of Strictly Ballroom and My Big Fat Greek Wedding, loves to talk about "kinky sex".

"My wife does nothing but discuss kinky sex," LaPaglia told the popular American morning TV talk show, The View.

"My wife's obsession is anything sexual. She loves it. My wife, I think, that's her thesis or her undergraduate study sex."

LaPaglia, whose hit TV drama Without A Trace draws 20 million viewers a week in the US, was playfully being grilled by a panel of women on The View.

The panel included America's veteran interviewer Barbara Walters and Desperate Housewives star Marcia Cross.

Before LaPaglia came on the set, the panel was involved in some steamy talk about sexual issues and he soon found himself in the thick of it.

"I'm not a lesbian, but I'm thinking about it," LaPaglia said, earning plenty of laughter from the live audience.
